Hello and welcome to my site! My name is Cassie and my goal is to train you to train your dog. Yes, you read that right haha. I believe that as pet parents we have a responsibility to give our pets a healthy, happy life filled with new experiences, diverse smells, and cherished memories.
Let me tell you what the site is and what it is not.
The Goal of Global Pet Training
On this blog I’ve spelled out as much of what I’ve learned about dog training as I can, and I hope to keep adding information for many years to come. The site isn’t meant to be the bible of puppy training tips or a quick fix. It’s just a compendium of things that work and that will make your life — and your pet’s life — better. We’re here for you and your pet, and we’ll send you classes and articles that we think will help you.
What We Are NOT
We are not a quick fix. Global Pet Training isn’t run by wizards and unfortunately we can’t snap our fingers, say a few words in Latin, and make all your dog woes disappear. Oh, how I wish…
We are not specialist trainers. We’re just a collective of people who love dogs and want your life to be as enriched by your pet as ours are by our own animals — and vice versa for the pets, too!
We are not a one-size-fits-all solution. Your pets may require more than we can offer, and that’s okay. We’re going to provide you with links to outside sources that can help with the big things, whether it’s aggression towards other animals, fear of people, or any assortment of things. Yup, that’s right, we’re not about just getting you to stay here; we actually want to help you, even if that means linking you off of our site.
